Reporters learned from the Tea College of Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University yesterday that the 25th International Tea Standardization Conference held in Japan voted to formally establish the Oolong Tea International Standards and set up a new standard-setting working group headed by the Tea College of Agricultural and Forestry University.
According to the introduction, the existing tea international standards (black tea, green tea, white tea) are formulated by foreigners, which has increased the technical barriers to China's tea export trade. Oolong Tea International Standard Setting Project is the first international standard project of tea in China, which will play a great role in regulating the production of Oolong Tea and Tea Import and export trade.
